How it works

The Salary Sacrifice Cycle to Work Scheme gives you the opportunity to obtain a regular bike or e-bike and accessories up to the value of £10,000 of your choice by sacrificing a portion of your salary. You can find out your nearest participating bike store and online bike stores, where you can obtain a quote for your chosen bike & accessories by clicking on the link below, and viewing the Cyclescheme website which has a list.

The Trust will carry out a few checks to make sure that you are eligible for the scheme, such as being a permanent member of staff and ensuring that you will not be dropped below minimum wage.

How to apply

  1. Go to the chosen cycle store, select your bike and equipment & obtain your quote
  2. Click "Apply " below and enter your quote details
  3. Once your request is approved you will receive an e-mail allowing you to download your hire agreement.
  4. Your certificate will be sent to your chosen email address within the hour once approved. Approval can take up to 5 working days.
  5. Take your certificate to the shop and collect your bike and equipment or redeem your certificate and supply to online store.
  6. Once the 12 month hire agreement and salary sacrifice ends, you will be contacted by the Cycle Scheme provider to inform you of your different ownership options.
