The BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) staff network meets regularly, on a bi-monthly basis, with the aim of supporting members of staff in their working lives and promoting awareness of  equality and inclusion  within the Trust.

In particular, the group has recently been focusing on supporting improvements in the recruitment and retention processes and leadership development to eliminate potential discrimination and to explore the concept of unconscious bias.

The network is a sociable bunch who like to meet outside of working hours for informal events, as well as the regular official meetings.

For the current time, membership of the network is open to any staff member who identifies as BAME and who has an interest in supporting equality for BAME staff.
